Annewil Neervens obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Hogeschool Utrecht in 2007 and recently graduated with a Master’s degree in New Media and Digital Culture from the University of Amsterdam. She has a particular interest in social media, (open source) software, digital influence and communities based on open standards.
This blog was initially set up as part of a New Media practice class and contains posts on topics relating to journalism, media theory and new and old media. Some of the articles posted here are also published on the Masters of Media blog, a project run by MA New Media students of the UvA.
